Inspired by her concert pianist grandmother, Elise Romeo, she is fascinated by the personalities of genius composers and musicians. Her writing searches for a deep understanding of where the inspiration and talent comes from, and how it shapes their lives. Following in the footsteps of her father, Lincoln Allan, she developed a number of pioneering research methods for advertising, and became an entrepreneur. Beth is never happier than when she is sitting under the umbrella on the deck overlooking Cape Cod Bay with a fuzzy cat on her lap, listening to classical music.
